TRITÓN

 

 

1982, a terrible drought ravishes Earth, the third planet of the Solar System (SS).  Pierre Covalsky, an eminent scientist famous throughout the solar system, has the solution to fighting it: transporting some gigantic icebergs from Triton, the frozen satellite of Neptune, and introducing them into earth´s atmosphere to be converted into generalized rains. To do so, he searches out an old acquaintance, the space pilot Roco Vargas. Roco, however, refuses on the grounds that he has retired.  The reader will sense a mystery beneath this strange behavior which demands to be disentailed.
