Roco helps Martini, the first intelligent being in history to be created entirely by robots. Martini, being the son of Artificial Intelligence that he is, has an incalculable value and is being hunted in order to take advantage of his enormous power but also to destroy him for the threat such power poses. This dilemma comes to a climax at the end of this trilogy about robotics, where violence prevails over reason and in which Roco is gravely wounded.
