“I never quite understood the reality of the world I was born into so, early in my life, I decided to create my own universe as a means of consuming fiction designed to fulfill my own personal existential needs. I called this world the “Retro-future”. I populated this universe throughout various works with the lives of multiple creatures and their environments. However, I still needed a hero for protagonist. I named him Roco Vargas and gave him life. To do that, however, I first had to design him.”
